Throes + The Shine

Throes & The Shine were born in 2011 in the city of Porto. A communion between Portugal and Angola. The group is characterized by a hybrid of kuduro (a dance music from Angola), electronic textures and heritage from rock universes.
They debuted on record with “ Rockduro ” in 2012. In 2014, “Mambos de Outro Tipos” followed. The third album “ Wanga ” dates from 2016.
After these albums, which were released on several independent labels, and already with hundreds of concerts given in more than ten countries, they presented, in 2019, “Enza”. This disc corresponded to the first album composed by the band's new lineup.
Igor Domingues, Marco Castro and Mob Dedaldino decided to embrace a new challenge and sought a different path from the past, without losing their identity.
The disc came with the assistance and production of Jori Collignon ( Skip&Die ) and collaborations with Cachupa Psicadélica, Mike El Nite , Selma Uamusse and Sotomayor and was released on pink vinyl.
