Clay Workshop
with Miguel Ramos
Saturday | 20th of May | 10:00 am | John dos Passos Cultural Center

Miguel Ramos from an early age showed an interest and taste for tools and handicrafts, largely due to the influence of his maternal grandfather. But it was in mid-2000, in Alentejo, that he began his training in ceramic decoration. Since then, he never stopped and continued to deepen his knowledge in areas such as pottery, passing through Caldas da Rainha, passing through Mafra in a professional internship at the Norberto Batalha pottery in 2010.
In 2014, he returned to Madeira and created the Barro Cru Workshop, located in the parish of Santa Luzia, in Funchal, where he created some decorative pieces and souvenirs with reference to the region.
