A TEAR AND A SMILE. Inspired by Kahlil Gibran's poem A TEAR AND A SMILE, it is a dance with sadness and the sense of loss and the way they cohabit with happiness and love. It is the contrast between these emotional entities that live within us.

The velvety of the musical notes that contrast with the forgotten, broken, dirty scenery. The underlying balance of physical expression with the site's own history (MATUR) and Kahlil Gibran 's poem Dimitra Papathanasopoulou thus brings together the perfect relationship of emotive contrasts.

It is a work in video format, in the film genre, where the dialogue results between the surrounding scenery with expressiveness, both musical and physical. Experimental, conceptual, contemporary, bold and daring, adjectives that characterize A TEAR AND A SMILE.
